Lover of great books, good dogs, spicy bloody marys and the Wild West.
I'm an award-winning copywriter based out of Las Vegas.
I believe nothing moves people to action like great writing (with the promise of ice-cream after dinner coming in as a close second). I'm a second-generation Nevadan on one side and a first-generation American on the other—a little bit worldly, a little bit Wild West.
I write everything from website copy to b2b articles to cowboy poetry. yee-haw, ya'll.
I earned my B.A. in journalism with an emphasis in advertising and a minor in English from the University of Nevada in 2012. I've worked as a freelance copywriter for clients across the U.S ever since.
If my writing manages to give someone pause—for even a moment—I've done my job.
I believe few things are more powerful than a strategically placed em dash, a sunrise yoga session and a strong backhand (think tennis).
I'm not one for bragging...but If I were:
→ Wrote and edited a 300-page study that earned a college its first-ever reaccreditation with 100% compliance (a feat only 20% of schools in the nation achieve).
→ Won a Public Relations Society of America award for an infographic I created for a client. (The client put my graphic on hundreds of Liberty Co. water bottles, and it's been making its way around the West Coast ever since.)
→ Wrote an essay that was published as the first in a collection titled Sagebrushed: Coming of Age and Working in Nevada. (I was featured in a book reading and signing at the iconic Sundance Bookstore as a result. There were cheese plates there, and it felt pretty fancy).
